Career highlights

Everything on this page started with zero - zero budget, zero team, zero precedent. In the early years I taught myself enough to get to a place where people would teach me fundamentals. In the latter years I've learned that I don't do anything, but rather WE do everything. We teach ourselves what we need, build what doesn't exist, and we scale what works. From developer platforms and open-source communities to enterprise SEO, LLMO, and product strategy.

Here's what that career looks like.

Communities built

I built two open-source developer communities from scratch — each growing to over 15,000 active members, and helped a third dev community grow to 3 million members. No paid acquisition, no growth hacks. Just good strategy, genuine engagement at scale, and digital tools that deliver what the community needed.

I also contributed to DZone's developer community, one of the largest developer content platforms on the web, publishing technical content and building visibility within the broader dev ecosystem.

Beyond the developer communities, I help startups and the greater tech community whenever I'm asked.

Growth & scale

Growth isn't a buzzword for me — it's the measurable result of solving real problems at scale. Across startups and enterprises, I've built the SEO infrastructure, product systems, and data pipelines that turn organic visibility into revenue.

Startup scaling

At early-stage and growth-stage startups, I built SEO programs and brand strategies from zero — setting up technical foundations, creating content engines, and implementing product-led growth (PLG) data tracking systems that connected product usage to business outcomes. When you're at a startup, you don't get to specialize. You learn everything while simultaneously failing, and if you're lucky, succeeding.

Enterprise SEO

At enterprise scale, I've managed to deploy 40+ websites, led 25+ site migrations with minimal traffic loss, and built programmatic digital products that drove hundreds of millions of page views. The work required cross-functional communication, technical depth, and the ability to move fast inside slow organizations.

eCommerce revenue

I've driven over $5 million in eCommerce revenue through organic search — helping product pages to deliver, building category architectures, implementing schema markup, and helping people find what they need online. This work spans the gamut of industries - from the music industry to offshore fishing, and everything in between.
